Bonehead Composites is an industry leader in composite aerospace technology specializing in products for extreme sports.
The company began in 1996 after President Christopher Frisella realized his need for a reliable camera helmet with enhanced functionality and design. Bonehead opened its doors in Perris, CA with a vision for supplying you with a superior product, and turned it into fruition with an improved manufacturing process using cutting-edge materials. Our 10,000-square-foot facility utilizes up-to-date technology, and houses our computer-controlled Autoclave, CNC machine, 3D printer, conveyer cutting table, and robotic arm. This results in a better product with increased production and delivery times. We offer a line of open and full-face helmets for military and civilian skydiving worldwide
Features that makes the AERO the only helmet "that really protects your head" in today's market.
Spring loaded CNC aluminum visor locks provide consistent and easy two handed openings and single hand closers with three screws on each side, and secure the visor in place. Securing the helmet incorporates a cord drawn collar and cut away buckle.Collar adjustments are made by simply pulling slack in the cord and re-knotting. The collar is made from wetsuit neoprene, and can easily be replaced without the need for any messy glue. Velcro and six screw attachment points keep it secure around the shell's parameter. The liner follows our standard line in construction, is removable for washing, and has the convenience of audible pockets on both sides. GoPro cameras can be top mounted using our standard mount. Options for other cameras will also be available. The AERO makes flying with cameras safe due to its ingeniously simple quick release cutaway.
